What do I wear for my pole class?
Gym wear (Shorts, leggings, 3 quarters, jogging bottoms, t shirt, vest tops and trainers are suitable) bare legs are better to grip the pole, but most important is that you feel comfortable!
What do I wear for my aerial class?
Gym wear (leggings, 3 quarters, jogging bottoms, long-sleeved t shirt and trainers are suitable) The most important thing is that you cover your armpits and knees!
Do I need to bring anything?
You may wish to bring a small towel for your personal hygiene and a non spill water bottle, but cups and drinking water will be provided.
What if I miss a class?
Providing there is more than one pole class a week running - If you miss a pole class in your 6 week course you are entitled to a free catch up session on an alternative day, this must be taken within the 6 weeks and can not be carried over to the next course. We have a 24 hour notice policy if you are unable to attend a class to entitle you to a free catch up session. Due to Aerial classes only running one day a week at present we are unable to offer free catch up's, however you are welcome to attend for 2 hours on the same day, if your hard core enough!
What if I’m not good at it, am I too old, too unfit or too out of shape?
No you're not! All our classes and moves are adapted to suit everyone. The important thing is just to have fun!!!
Rules & regulations
You must be over 18 years of age to attend the pole parties. You may attend classes from 16 years old, although if you're under 18 you must be accompanied by a responsible adult or have written consent from a parent or carer. There is no upper age limit. You must be in general good health with no aches or pains prior to lessons. Are not pregnant or recently had a baby and have had a post natal check up with the all clear. Are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No jewellery that can scratch or damage the equipment, no creams or oils on body to prevent slipping. Thank you!
With Covid rules and regulations still in place from last year re-class sizes and social distancing we are officially full! There will be no more than 15 people in the studio at one time, therefore I ask politely for 8.30 class to wait outside until called in and 7.30 class to leave promptly. Mask must be worn until you are next to your pole space, only one person on the pole at anytime to ensure the social distancing is followed. Please bring your own towel, hand sanitizer, along with bottle of water and pole grip (if required, please do not share items). We are unable to spot during classes as this would mean coming too close so I ask everyone to be patient with there returning pole strength and not do moves you do not feel 100 percent safe in.
Cancellation policy in place of miss a class: You must let me know 24 hours before the class via email email@example.com if you can not make the session in order to be able to claim a catch up or discuss at end of course. If I do not have an email I do not have the evidence that you have missed a session. Of course if you are not planning to claim your catch up or lost lesson then that is fine.
You must let me know 24 hours before the class via email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you cannot make the session in order to be able to claim a catch-up session. If I do not have an email (please note other forms of communication such as Facebook/Instagram will not be counted) then I do not have the evidence that you have missed a session. Of course, if you are not planning to claim your catch up or lost lesson then that is fine. What I cannot have is several people asking for discounts for the next course due to missed lessons this is not how it works and basically voids the whole point of a prepaid course. From this course onwards discounted follow-on courses due to missed lessons will not be allowed. If you know you are going to miss a lesson of the following course due to holidays/work, please discuss this with me before booking on so I can arrange a catch-up session and ensure someone else can book on that week.
