What do I wear for my pole class?

Gym wear (Shorts, leggings, 3 quarters, jogging bottoms, t shirt, vest tops and trainers are suitable) bare legs are better to grip the pole, but most important is that you feel comfortable!

Do I need to bring anything?

You may wish to bring a small towel for your personal hygiene and a non spill water bottle, but cups and drinking water will be provided.

What if I miss a class?

Providing there is more than one pole class a week running - If you miss a pole class in your 6 week course you are entitled to a free catch up session on an alternative day, this must be taken within the 6 weeks and can not be carried over to the next course. We have a 24 hour notice policy if you are unable to attend a class to entitle you to a free catch up session. Due to Aerial classes only running one day a week at present we are unable to offer free catch up’s, however you are welcome to attend for 2 hours on the same day, if your hard core enough!

When should I not participate in class?

Usually, most people can participate in our group exercise classes with no problems, but there are some circumstances where participation is not advised:

1. Injury

Please advise us of any injuries you may have. Sometimes you may be able to continue with classes, but it is important for the instructor to be aware of anything so they can give you the correct support and attention. We may also be able to show you adaptations or alternatives to accommodate your abilities. This is on an individual basis, however, so please also seek medical advice before class if you are unsure.

2. Illness

Some people prefer to exercise if they’ve been feeling under the weather, but if you are feeling nauseous, dizzy, feverish, have a severe headache etc. please put your feet up and get better!
If you have any diagnosed medical conditions including (but not limited to) asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, high blood pressure, angina, it is vital that you first check with your doctor that it is safe for you to participate in a class.

What if I'm not good at it? Am I too old?
Too out of shape or unfit?

No you’re not! All our classes and moves are adapted to suit everyone. The important thing is just to have fun!!
